From earning a Michelin Toque at L’Aile ou la Cuisse in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, to leading acclaimed kitchens such as Maison Rippert in Avignon and La Villa Morelia (Michelin-referenced), Richard Smache has built a career defined by rigor, creativity, and international recognition.
Beyond France, he brought French gastronomy abroad – as Executive Chef-Owner in Canada (Beauchemin Guide, 4★), and at The Stocks Hotel in the Channel Islands, named Best Establishment of the Channel 2016.
His savoir-faire also brought him to alpine destinations such as Courchevel and Alpes d’Huez, where he helmed fine-dining restaurants with high guide ratings.
Now, as Chef de Cuisine at La Prévôté – Le Rêve de Fusion, Richard unites Provençal terroir with his cosmopolitan background, offering cuisine rooted in French elegance yet enriched by global influences.

A Culinary Explorer with Global Roots
Anuroopa Banerjee’s cooking is a tapestry of cultures. A graduate of the Italian Chef Academy (Rome), she honed her craft in acclaimed kitchens such as Gaggan, Bangkok ( 2 Michelin stars, Asia’s No.1 restaurant for four consecutive years ) and Merito, Lima (World’s 50 Best).
She went on to found “Journey” in Lisbon, a bistronomic restaurant widely covered by international media and loved for its creativity, warmth, and 5-star guest reviews.
Her cuisine blends Indian heritage, Mediterranean finesse, and a love for travel — the perfect counterpoint to Provence’s seasonal bounty at La Prévôté – Le Rêve de Fusion.
